Ellie Leach says Lucy Fallon’s last day on Corrie is ‘saddest of her life’

‘Coronation Street’ star Ellie Leach had to treat herself to a pizza after experiencing the "saddest day of [her] life" on Lucy Fallon’s last day of filming.
The 18-year-old actress, who plays Faye Windass on the ITV soap, admitted she "couldn’t be more sad if [she] tried" as she waved goodbye to her pal Lucy, who has finished filming on the cobbles after five years of portraying Bethany Platt.
She wrote on Instagram Stories: "I actually couldn’t be more sad if I tried
"I even had to get myself a dominios because this is the saddest day of my life. (sic)"
Lucy admitted she couldn’t stop crying on her last day, and also had to chow down on some pizza.
In response to Ellie, she wrote: "Literally same. Worst. Day. Ever.
"Can’t stop crying (sic)"
Lucy then shared a video of herself and her family tucking into some pizza and made some crying sounds.
Ellie’s comments come just a few months after saying she wishes she was busier on ‘Coronation Street’.
The star – who has played Faye Windass since 2011 – said at the time: "I’m not very busy really, just bistro stuff, but not busy with a storyline."
Asked if she has anything big coming up, she added: "Nothing I know of but hopefully something will come up soon. It’s nice to have some time off but then you think I’m bored now, I’ve just finished college so I don’t know what to do with myself."
