Jax Jones wants Strictly Come Dancing stint

Jax Jones wants to compete on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The ‘This Is Real’ hitmaker is confident about his "moves" after being the star of his own music videos, and he is sure he could translate that into some success on the BBC Latin and ballroom competition.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column, he said: "Sign me up, ‘Strictly’!
"I have been showing people a few things, I am getting used to being on camera more and I am not shy about busting a two-step – it’s the way I am.
"It is just that more people have been paying attenion now, I’ve got moves. They may be the same moves, though!"
The chart topping producer insisted he wouldn’t be worried about falling victim to the infamous ‘Strictly curse’ though, as he heaped praise on his wife.
He added: "My wife is really important to me, we are a team, we do everything together."
Jax’s comments come as comedian Chris Ramsey and his pro partner Karen Hauer were eliminated from ‘Strictly’ over the weekend, narrowly missing out on a place in the upcoming final.
The duo found themselves in the dreaded dance-off against Karim Zeroual and his partner Amy Dowden, after they failed to impress viewers, and therefore gained the fewest number of votes.
It was then up to the judging panel – made up of Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and head judge Shirley Ballas – to watch each pair dance again, before all four of them decided to save Karim and Amy.
The CBBC presenter and his dancing partner will join remaining pairs Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse, and Emma Barton and Anton du Beke in Saturday’s (14.12.19) live final.
