Jessie J: The Voice UK struggles to keep the magic

Jessie J doesn’t think ‘The Voice UK’ always has the same "magic" as ‘The Voice Kids’.
The ‘Bang Bang’ hitmaker started as a coach on the adult version of the spinning-chair contest when it was on BBC One in 2012 for two seasons, and even had a stint on the Australian version between 2015 and 2016.
However, she has admitted it has been more thrilling watching the young hopefuls bring their "light" and "energy" with their auditions.
Jessie – who is joined by Pixie Lott, Danny Jones and will.i.am on the coaching panel – told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "There’s definitely an element of magic that this one has that the adult one can sometimes struggle to keep consistent.
"It really does depend on the person standing on the stage.
"They control the energy of the room.
"And these kids all come from light.
"It’s really beautiful to be a part of."
Pixie added how it lights up her world when she sees the children performing and admitted she would have auditioned for the ITV talent show if it was around when she was little.
She said: "I miss it when I’m not doing it because the kids bring me so much happiness.
"They work so hard and it makes me very proud .
"Seeing talent at the beginning o their career is still so exciting to me.
"I was exactly the same age at their ages.
"If there’d been a show like this I’d have gone on it."
