Mark Strong is set to star in ‘Grimsby’.

The ‘Green Lantern’ actor is currently in negotiations to star opposite Sacha Baron Cohen in the comedy as a Black-op spy who is forced to go on the run with his long-lost brother, an English football hooligan.

The script was penned by Cohen with the help of Phil Johnston and Peter Baynham, and will be helmed by ‘Clash Of The Titans’ director, Louis Leterrier.

Cohen is producing the film through Four by Two along with Eric Fellner of Working Title, and Nira Park of Big Talk Productions.

According to Variety, the film is scheduled begin shooting this summer with a US release scheduled for July 31, 2015.

Meanwhile, Strong is currently starring in a stage run of ‘A View From the Bridge’ and will seen starring alongside Benedict Cumberbatch ‘The Imitation Game’.

The Weinstein production will see Cumberbatch take on the lead role as British wartime cryptographer Alan Turing, a key figure in cracking Nazi Germany’s Enigma code during World War II, who was later criminally prosecuted for his homosexuality.
