Nicole Scherzinger pushed through a painful pre‑show injury after being scalded by boiling water just an hour before she was due on stage with the Pussycat Dolls in Germany.
The 48‑year‑old singer revealed she had suffered a large burn running from her knee to her ankle ahead of the group’s PCD Forever Tour date at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf at the weekend. Despite the injury, Nicole went ahead with the performance and later shared the accident with fans on Instagram.
She wrote: “Nothing like boiling water falling on your leg an hour before your set, but the show must go on. Thanks Dusseldorf for keeping me going.”
Nicole continued with the tour schedule, performing at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on Sunday (27.09.26) before the trio head to the UK for a run of arena dates. The group are set to play Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on Tuesday (29.09.26), followed by shows at Dublin’s 3Arena on October 5 and Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on October 7, before closing the tour at The O2 in London on October 13.
The reunion run – featuring Nicole, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt – has faced challenges, particularly in North America, where the group cancelled almost all dates due to slow ticket sales. In May, the trio announced the decision in a statement shared on Instagram.
They said: “We want to share an important update with you. When we announced the PCD FOREVER Tour, we hoped to bring the show to fans across the world. After taking an honest look at the North American run, we’ve made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to cancel all but one of the North America dates.”
The group confirmed their appearance at WeHo Pride in Los Angeles on June 6, describing it as a meaningful moment for a community that has supported them throughout their career. They added: “Our UK and European dates are still moving forward as planned, and the response has been incredible, with several shows already sold out.”
The Dolls also thanked fans for their “love, patience, and support”, promising a show built around celebration, nostalgia and the group’s long‑lasting connection with their audience.
