Vicky Pattison gorged on Big Macs as she watched her new TV show ‘The Break Up’.
The 31-year-old star was understandably nervous as she settled down to see her split from ex-fiance John Noble broadcast to the nation on Wednesday (30.01.19), and just minutes before the first episode aired she revealed the new McDonald’s Big Mac Bacon was going to help her get through the experience.
Alongside a snap showing McDonald’s fast food boxes, she wrote on Instagram: "I think I’m ready… Gin, Big Macs with bacon, comfies and some of the best people I have ever met in my life…
"If this isn’t the best way to watch tv I don’t know what is?!!
"3 mins til my show stats on @tlcvuk and my anxiety is at all new heights… (sic)"
The show was initially due to be called ‘Vicky and John Said Yes’ and was going to document the pair’s wedding plans, but the pair broke up.
And Vicky recently admitted she found it "super cathartic" filming the new programme.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It happened exactly as it was happening. It’s filmed pretty much organically, verbatim, as everything was going on.
"It was tough, but also super cathartic."
Vicky was left in tears on ‘This Morning’ earlier this week when she revealed her self-esteem hit "rock bottom" after the split.
She said: "I think when something like this happens, you blame yourself.
"You think, ‘If I looked more like those girls, he wouldn’t have done it’. But I couldn’t make John love me and I couldn’t make him a man. That’s not my job."
Vicky is not the only person who can get their hands on the delightful burgers as the whole Big Mac family, which includes the recently returned Grand Big Mac and Mac Jr., is now available with bacon from McDonald’s.
The Big Mac Bacon, Grand Mac Bacon and Mac Jr. Bacon are available in restaurants nationwide for a limited time only until March 19th. And if bacon doesn’t tickle your taste buds, all three burgers will also be available in their classic style during this time.
