‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ bosses want to spark some "gossip" amongst campmates.
Ferne McCann – who came third on the reality show in 2015 – has revealed some behind the scenes secrets ahead of the new series, and she revealed how producers are looking to make it more exciting this year.
Appearing on ITV’s ‘This Morning’, she revealed: "They’ve also put a bench in where four people can sit, and they kinda want to engineer a gossip bench. I think the last few years have been positive, lovely, uplifting, everyone’s got on. We want some drama going on!"
Meanwhile, her fellow showbiz reporter and reality star Vicky Pattison – who won the year they were both on the show – has opened up about how the Bush Tucker Trial are being taken to the next level.
She added: "The trials are gonna be tougher than ever, [and] more bugs than ever."
The former ‘Geordie Shore’ star revealed how one task will see the celebrities faced with 160,000 creepy crawlies, another with 50 snakes and there will be a "big underwater trial".
Ferne still looks back fondly on her time in the jungle, and she admitted every year she feels jealous for the stars getting to have the experience.
She said: "It was honestly, such a fabulous experience for me. The whole whole thing about. To be part of it was amazing.
"I get really jealous the years after us, and I feel like, ‘No, that’s my hammock’, I wanna be back out there.
"It was amazing, obviously made amazing friendships. It was frightening doing the trials, but it was fab."
