Amanda Holden reveals ‘genuine’ BGT friendships

Amanda Holden says the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judges are all "genuinely good" friends.

The star – who appears on the panel alongside Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams – is glad to be back for another series and insisted the quartet haven’t argued too much so far.

She told the Daily Express newspaper’s Saturday magazine: "It’s such a laugh and the days fly by. It’s lovely to be back with everyone.

"We all have genuinely good friendships and we all bounce off each other. I love Alesha, Simon and David.

"The energy on the show is really fast, snappy and upbeat. It’s great. I don’t think the four of us have had many disagreements this year. We’ve all been pretty much on the same page."

The show will kick off its eighth series tonight (12.04.14) and Amanda is convinced there is still plenty of talent across the country to justify its longevity.

She added: "I know I say it every year. Even my husband always say, ‘Can’t you think of something different to say?’

"But every year I say, ‘Thank god that there is still so much talent out there.’ "
