Chris Stapleton brings home twins

Chris Stapleton and his wife Morgane Hayes have brought their premature twins home from hospital.
The 40-year-old singer missed the Academy of Country Music Awards (ACMs) in Las Vegas at the weekend because he and his spouse had welcomed their sons into the world, and Morgane has now revealed the little boys have been allowed out of hospital after a week in intensive care because they were born a month early.
She shared a photo of herself cradling the tots on Instagram alongside a post thanking the medical team for their support.
Morgane – who also has a boy and a girl aged six and eight with Chris – wrote: "Thank you for all the love! We’re so grateful to finally be home with our sweet family. We would like to say a special thank you to all the incredible nurses & doctors at Centennial Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Nashville.
"At more than a month early, we had a week long stay in the nicu & the incredible people there kept our boys healthy & happy. Words cannot express our gratitude for you all & what you did for our family. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! (sic)"
ACMs host Reba McEntire revealed during the ceremony that the babies had been born.
Speaking on stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena after Chris’ Album of the Year win for ‘From A Room Vol. 1’ was announced, Reba said: "Chris, congratulations! But that’s only the second biggest news. You know Chris couldn’t be here because Morgan is expecting twins. We just found out that those little rascals came a little bit early. Twin boys!"
