Khloe Kardashian considered surrogacy

Khloe Kardashian has revealed she previously considered hiring a surrogate mother because she thought she would never get pregnant.
The 33-year-old reality star is currently expecting her first child with her boyfriend Tristan Thompson, but has admitted that becoming pregnant wasn’t an easy journey, as she was even pushed to consider surrogacy after struggling with her fertility.
She said: "I thought about surrogacy at one point, but then it just didn’t cross my mind. When I got pregnant, I was just so surprised. … I was just in shock, I think as much as everybody else was."
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star – whose sister Kim Kardashian West recently had her daughter Chicago via a surrogate after complications with her previous two pregnancies – was eventually able to conceive naturally, and has said she’s definitely "ready" for the big new step in her life.
She added to UK TV show ‘Lorraine’ on Thursday (08.02.18): "I think [parenthood] puts so many things into perspective. And so many people say, ‘Once you have a baby, your life just begins, and you’re going to realize everything you were doing was nonsense.’ But honestly, I’m just so happy this is happening in my life right now. People always say, ‘When you’re ready, you’ll have a baby.’ I feel so ready."
Khloe is enjoying her pregnancy, but recently admitted the "worst part" of the process was during the first trimester when she attempted to keep the news from her nosy family.
She said: "Even though expecting a baby is SO exciting, the first trimester can be the worst. The worst part was keeping this major secret from my family, though! I’m with my sisters pretty much every single day, so it was hard to not be able to say why I was so sick or couldn’t do certain things. We wanted to tell everybody at one time, which made things even more tricky – how do you get all those people together in one room?! – but it was so amazing when we finally did! Keeping the secret from the outside world wasn’t as big of a deal for me. I believe there are certain things that need to be held private and for yourself. It was beautiful to have something that was just ours. (sic)"
