Sam Faiers is set to quit ‘The Only Way Is Essex’.
The reality TV star will reportedly leave the show at the end of the current series on Wednesday (02.04.13) to concentrate on her relationship with Joey Essex and her recovery from Crohn’s disease.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "She feels it’s time to go. She’s had a great time but doesn’t want to have relationships just for air time.
"She’s looking forward to her relationship not being there fir everyone to judge."
Sam and Joey recently reconciled after splitting last summer, and she is now starting to recovery from an inflammatory bowel disease, recently revealing she is finally able to expand her diet again.
She said: "I’ve only been able to start eating in the last week. I have to eat plain foods like white rice, potatoes, chicken and fish. It’s nice to eat proper food."
Meanwhile, Sam’s boyfriend has admitted their romance will be better for time off camera and he dismissed the idea of a ‘TOWIE’ curse.
He recently explained: "I think people say that, but with me and Sam, we are quite a genuine relationship. People see that and that’s why people related to us quite well. So [the show] wouldn’t ever get in my way.
"But it’s nice to have a bit of personal time [away from the cameras]."
