Cherry Healey gets Load Rage

Cherry Healey’s family squabble over internet use.
The 36-year-old presenter – who has daughter Coco, seven, and son Edward, three, with ex-husband Roly Allen – can understand why ‘Load Rage’, or slow-loading internet, has become the biggest household bug-bear in the UK, because she knows all too well the frustration of not being able to get things to download when she needs them.
She said: "So much of our life depends on broadband – work and play – and the more devices we have, the more the broadband is stretched, which is resulting in Load Rage – a new term coined by TalkTalk to describe the frustration we encounter when we see that spinning circle of doom.
"According to recent research by TalkTalk, slow-loading internet has overtaken noisy neighbours and queuing for the toilet as the nation’s biggest household bug-bear, which I totally get.
"If I need to download a file, my daughter wants to play a game, and my son is watching television all at the same time, then our connection needs to be fast and reliable, and fibre broadband is the only thing that can save us from arguments."
Meanwhile, when it comes to her professional life, Cherry is incredibly busy with a number of exciting ventures, and is particularly enjoying meeting with "amazing" people for her podcast series.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I’ve nearly finished filming ‘Inside The Factories’ series 3 and I’m in the middle of the second series of my podcast ‘Letters To My Fanny’ where I interview amazing people who are changing their corner of world with brilliant campaigns or innovation. I’ve also got a holiday programme coming out on July 9 on BBC1."
Cherry has teamed up with TalkTalk to help the nation avoid load rage and enjoy the benefits of fibre internet.
Providing unlimited downloads and Fixed Low Price Plans, TalkTalk’s fibre is the smart choice for busy households. To find out more visit https://www.talktalk.co.uk/shop/broadband/fibre
