Nick Grimshaw picked roast dinner over Harry Styles’ solo songs

Harry Styles is keen to get his famous friends’ opinions on his solo songs but his close friend Nick Grimshaw spurned a sneak preview to have a meal with his mother.
The One Direction star is busy recording his first album outside of the boy band and is set to release it sooner rather than later.
Harry, 23, wanted to let Nick, 32, hear his fresh tunes last Sunday (12.02.17) but the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show DJ turned him down to have roast dinner with his mum Eileen.
Nick spilled: "I was meant to hear it on Sunday but my mum called to go for a roast. I can’t ditch my mum … I’m going to hear it soon though."
If Nick wants to be one of the first people to hear Harry on his own he better hurry up because Sony Music boss Rob Stringer recently revealed that the LP is "close" to being finished.
He said: "We’re close and we’re very excited. We have a record we’re incredibly excited about and it’s not far away from being ready.
"We obviously want everything to be beautifully done, because we think he’s here to stay. Harry has stepped up with the vision of someone who’s authentic."
Among the names Harry is believed to have been working with are Bruno Mars, Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid and hit machine Max Martin who has helped the likes of Taylor Swift, Pink, Katy Perry and Britney Spears pen chart toppers.
