Calvin Harris reveals he’s ‘ruined’ two new songs

Calvin Harris has "ruined" two new songs.
The 33-year-old DJ-and-producer has been busy in the new studio working on some fresh tracks, however, not all of his tinkering on the mixing desk has worked out.
The ‘We Found Love’ hitmaker took to Twitter on Thursday (26.01.17) to tell his fans about his musical mishap.
He tweeted: "Today I ruined two songs."
But Calvin is sure he’ll be able to turn them into hits, adding: "I’ll fix them tomorrow though."
His frank admissions come just days after he revealed he had been busy ‘auto-tuning’ – a process which uses a computer to alter the pitch in vocal and instrumental music recordings – on Monday (23.01.17), when a fan asked him what he had been up to.
Earlier this week, Calvin also revealed that he planned to work on 10 tracks this year – with a new song to be dropped later in 2017.
Calvin is expected to set aside some time to collaborate with Jason Derulo as the ‘Ridin’ Solo’ hitmaker revealed the pair were keen to work on music together once they can find some time in their busy schedules.
Jason said: "We’ve been in contact and Calvin and I are interested in working together for sure. But it’s just finding the right time and right song, we both have busy schedules, but I hope so."
Meanwhile, Calvin is set to make an appearance at the 2017 BRIT Awards.
And the ‘My Way’ songwriter has vowed to grow a beard in time for the prestigious ceremony, which takes place at The O2 in London on February 22.
Taking to his Twitter, the Scottish hunk previously shared: "I trimmed my mustache I was looking washed up … while making the best music of my life … didn’t correlate. Gonna grow it back for the Brits (sic)"
Calvin is up for two prizes; British Single of the Year for ‘This is What You Came For’, his track with Rihanna, and British Video for the same song.
