Meghan Markle ‘loves’ to run and clear her head

Meghan Markle "loves" running because it helps to clear her head.
The 35-year-old actress – who is currently dating Britain’s Prince Harry – has revealed she enjoys exercising for a number of reasons, not only because it helps her achieve "goals" for her body but because of its mental benefits too.
Speaking about her passion for fitness, the brunette beauty – who is known for her role as Rachel Zane in the American series ‘Suits’ – said: "I love running, but I think to find a workout routine that speaks to you beyond trying to get goals for your body. So, for me, running is I need as much for my head, to clear my head as I do for keeping in shape."
Aside from running Meghan has revealed she practices "a lot" of yoga and pilates, including Hot Yoga and Pilates Platinum, as well as following Tracy Anderson’s workout videos.
She continued: "I do a lot of Hot Yoga, and then Pilates, and Pilates Platinum in LA.
"[And] Tracy Anderson DVD’s for five or six years now."
But Meghan claims the most important part of exercising and keeping fit is being self-motivated, which she believes is "half the battle".
Speaking in a video with Shape.com, Meghan said: "I do it all on my own and definitely have DVD’s at home, and I go for a run by myself. I think if you can self-motivate that’s half the battle.
"I think being in shape just means feeling confident and being as healthy as you can, and I guess just owning it is you have, being happy in your size and being happy with yourself is being in shape too. Just own where you are, and love yourself."
