Jordan Banjo axed from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Jordan Banjo has been eliminated from ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’.
The Diversity dancer – who is the brother of Ashley Banjo – has become the fourth campmate to get the boot from the creepy-crawly show after the public opted to save Scarlett Moffatt, Carol Vorderman, Wayne Bridge, Martin Roberts, Adam Thomas, Joel Dommett, Sam Quek and Larry Lamb.
Speaking to Ant and Dec after he was axed, he said: "The whole experience was so overwhelming, it was something I never thought I’d get the chance to do. I’m not joking, those guys in there is such a beautiful person and I can’t wait to see them when they get out.
"I’ve never seen a camp like it. It was sort of like a home away from home because every day I’m with a team. I thought it would be arguments and big egos but it hasn’t been anything like that."
The 23-year-old hunk – who was persuaded to take part in the show by his brother and father – has spent the past two weeks in the jungle and has admitted it’s "heartbreaking" to say goodbye to his campmate Larry.
He explained: "It’s heartbreaking. Larry has been like a dad to me in there."
Throughout his time in the Australian outback, Jordan has taken part in a series of gruelling challenges, which saw him come face-to-face with his biggest fear snakes, but he has admitted the trials haven’t dissolved his anxieties.
He said: "It just reaffirmed how scared i am of snakes. I was sort of like I don’t like snakes but if I came face-to-face with them, I’ll be able to handle it. But now I’ve come face-to-face to them, I know I don’t like snakes."
Although he’s developed strong relationships with his fellow campmates, Jordan would love to see retired footballer Wayne take the crown next week.
