Prince Harry has been warned against his new girlfriend – by her sister.
The 32-year-old royal is said to be smitten with actress Meghan Markle after meeting her in May and has already introduced her to members of the royal family, but Samantha Grant says her half sibling cannot be trusted.
Samantha – who shares the same father, Thomas Markle, as Meghan – branded her sister a "shallow social climber" who always wanted to be a princess and is "narcissistic and selfish".
The mother-of-three writer added to Radar Online: "The royal family would be appalled by what she’s done to her own family. The truth would kill her relationship with Prince Harry, he wouldn’t want to date her any more because it puts her in a bad public light.
"I certainly don’t think Harry or his family would want to associate with her afterwards."
The website also claims Samantha and Thomas – who was declared bankrupt just weeks ago – have been hurt by Meghan’s "lack of emotional and financial support" since she became famous.
And other insiders have alleged ‘Suits’ star Meghan has been overwhelmed by the media frenzy since her and Harry’s relationship was revealed but is determined to make things work.
One source said: "Meghan’s been glued to her phone since she found out the relationship was going public on Sunday. Her WhatsApp notifications are never-ending and her social media has exploded.
"She’s barely sleeping. Meghan was awake all night on Sunday and only slept an hour or two on Monday. The truth is she feels guilty even though it’s not her fault, she’s desperate for the relationship to work."
