Primal Scream announce UK tour

Primal Scream have announced a UK tour.
The ‘Loaded’ hitmakers will head out on the road in November and December after a disruptive summer, which saw frontman Bobby Gillespie injure himself after he fell from the top of a speaker stack mid-way through their performance at the Caribana Festival in Switzerland in June.
The group will be supported by Japanese rock band Bo Ningen.
Announcing the dates on Twitter, the band wrote: "LIVE NEWS! UK + Ireland tour with @boningenuk Pre-sale: 9AM/14/9
General sale: 9AM 16/9
primalscreamtour.net (sic)"
The indie rock group – also comprised of Andrew Innes, Martin Duffy, Darrin Mooney, Barrie Cadogan and Simone Butler – will drop their new single ‘Feeling Like a Demon Again’ – from their 11th studio LP ‘Chaosmosis’ – ahead of the shows on October 28.
Following the nasty injury Bobby, 54, sustained he was advised by doctors to take eight weeks off to recover, forcing the band to cancel a number of dates on their world tour in June.
At the time, a statement on their Twitter account read: "Primal Scream have been forced to cancel several European and UK shows this summer following Bobby Gillespie’s accident last Thursday night at the Caribana festival, Switzerland.
"Bobby has been instructed to rest for a minimum of eight weeks."
However, Primal Scream made a triumphant return to UK festival Boardmasters in Cornwall, South West England, last month.

Primal Scream’s winter tour dates:

November:
November 21, Edinburgh Usher Hall
November 22, Motherwell Concert Hall
November 23, Inverness Ironworks
November 25, Kilmarnock Grand Hall
November 26, Dunfermline Alhambra
November 27, Liverpool Empire
November 30, Dublin Olympia

December:

December 4, Birmingham O2 Institute
December 5, Cambridge Junction
December 7, Bristol O2 Academy
December 8, Oxford O2 Academy
December 10, Sheffield Plug
