Rob Kardashian’s fatherhood hopes

Rob Kardashian wants to be a "fun and goofy" parent like his own dad.
The 29-year-old reality star was just 15 when his beloved father Robert Kardashian died of cancer, but he still has good memories of the strong bond they had and is hopeful of forging a similar relationship with his own child when fiancee Blac Chyna gives birth later this year.
He said: "He’s definitely happy, looking down.
"I had a really close bond with my dad. I was only with him for 15 years.
"That’s why I’m looking forward to having that long-term bond with my child and being funny and goofy like my dad was."
Rob spent almost two years out of the spotlight as he battled depression and weight gain until he embarked on his relationship with Chyna – who also has son King Cairo, three, with ex-partner Tyga – several months ago, and he is now looking forward to the future.
He told People magazine: "I’m excited for this little journey now with my child and Chyna. I want to have a fun life."
After his weight ballooned, Rob was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, but he claims he now has the condition under control, largely thanks to Chyna’s cooking.
He said: "I had found out I had type two diabetes six months before but I stopped taking my insulin. I didn’t enjoy the routine. So I ended up non-stop throwing up, and I couldn’t even swallow because my mouth was dry. I felt like I was going to die. When I got out of the hospital, I knew I needed to make changes.
"Chyna and I had a really big talk and she told me that by having her cook for me, my diabetes would be gone. And it is."
