Paul McCartney has ‘fun’ breaking the rules of songwriting

Sir Paul McCartney says he’s still writing songs with the same rule‑dodging, wide‑eyed mischief he had as a teenager.

Vicky Pattison would do Strictly Come Dancing for ‘a lot of money’

Vicky Pattison would only do ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ for "a lot of money."
The 28-year-old reality TV star is adamant she’d never agree to take part in the popular Ballroom and Latin show because she’s not a natural "performer" but would risk humiliating herself on the dance floor in a skin-tight crystal-embellished frock if bosses slapped down an eye-watering deal.
She explained to NOW magazine: "’Strictly Come Dancing’ is my idea of hell. I’m not a performer. Put me up the highest tree in the jungle and I’ll zip line off it. Put me in with snakes, I’ll swim a river. But put me in sequins and ask me to cha-cha and I’ll cry. I’m not that way inclined. If you ever see me doing ‘Strictly…’ then you’ll know they must have paid me a f***ing lot of money!"
And ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ isn’t the only show the former ‘Geordie Shore’ star would snub as she’s also not keen on the idea of entering the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house in the future because she believes the intense environment would send her barking mad.
She said: "Big Brother’s definitely not right for me either. I struggle in small spaces and having my freedom taken away is one of the big reasons I left ‘Geordie Shore’. I think ‘Big Brother’s just an extension of ‘Geordie Shore’, in an even more intense environment. That would totally just stifle me. I’d snap, lose the plot and end up writing on the wall in my own poo."
However, Vicky – who was crowned queen of the jungle in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ last year – currently has her sights set on more presenting jobs and would love to take over the reins of the jungle spin-off ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! NOW!’ when it returns later this year.
She added: "I really, really, really, really want to do ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! NOW!’ I’ve been dead honest about the fact that it’s on my bucket list of jobs."
