Britney Spears has ‘never’ met Taylor Swift

Britney Spears has "never" met Taylor Swift.
The 34-year-old singer songwriter has admitted she would rather sit next to Katy Perry over the ‘Bad Blood’ musician because she claims the pair have not encountered one another before, although her meeting with the ‘Rise’ singer in the past was only brief.
Speaking on KIIS radio about the person she would prefer to be accompanied on a 24 hour flight with, the blonde beauty said: "I don’t know! I don’t know, that’s hard. They’re both so cool, I don’t know.
"I’ve briefly met Katy Perry at the ‘Smurfs’ movie premiere. Maybe because I’ve met Katy Perry I would say Taylor Swift, because I’ve never met her before."
However, the ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’ hitmaker saddled up for a photograph with the 26-year-old at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2008.
Meanwhile Britney – who drooped the first single ‘Make Me’ last month, which debuted at number 17 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart – has revealed her new album "explores some new things".
Speaking previously about her upcoming ninth studio album, the mother of two – who has sons Sean, 10, and Jayden, nine, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline teased: "I’ll just say this … We really explored some new things."
Britney’s single ‘Make Me’ features G-Eazy, and the star has praised the rapper for his contribution to the song.
She said: "He’s such an amazing talent. It was fun! His rap really took the song to a new level."
Britney also revealed the theme of her next video is based on "female empowerment".
She said: "There’s lots of female empowerment. Lol. (sic)"
The album, which is reportedly called ‘B9’, is expected to be released later this year.
