All the way back in February – before all the commotion kicked off – Taylor Swift allegedly "cautioned" Kanye West before he released ‘Famous’.The 26-year-old singer warned the ‘Bound 2’ hitmaker about dropping the track, whereby he raps about a steamy session with the blonde beauty. He sings: "I made that b***h famous." and claims he made "that bitch famous." But Kanye called her to ask her to promote the song, although Taylor disputed this.A representative for Taylor told Billboard at the time: "Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that b***h famous.’ "
