Vicky Pattison has never been "in love".
The 28-year-old beauty – who called off her 10-month engagement with her former ‘Geordie shore’ co-star Ricci Guarnaccio in 2013 – isn’t very "lucky" when it comes to romance and, despite being close to tying the knot three years ago, she hasn’t ever truly loved someone.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the brunette beauty said: "I’ve had quite a few high-profile fails this year — and it’s only July. I’m not very lucky in love and I don’t think I’ve actually ever been in love. I hope that when I meet The One the whole room will stop. But meanwhile there’s nothing wrong with dating Mr Right Now."
And the ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!’ champion believes the reason her former relationships have been unsuccessful is because she is a "jealous psychopath".
Speaking about her and her ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’ co-star Kelly Brook’s similarities, she said: "We joke that we’re both jealous psychopaths but it’s not that funny and not that much of a joke — it’s absolutely true when it comes to geezers. I can be a jealous psycho at times."
However, the ‘Loose Women’ panellist has become more accepting some men won’t find her attractive.
She explained: "The older you get, the more comfortable you become with the fact that you won’t like everyone, and not everyone will like you. [But] don’t create a fantasy man in your head who is so perfect you never give anyone else a chance. I’m just myself now, and if someone thinks I’m OK that’s great, but if you don’t, nay bother, pet.
"I’d rather be a few people’s shot of tequila than everybody’s cup of tea. Leaving ‘Geordie Shore’ and meeting some great new people made me feel more positive and happy, and that had a knock-on effect on everything."
