Emma Bunton wants Las Vegas residency for Spice Girls

Emma Bunton would be open to the Spice Girls having a Las Vegas concert residency.

The singer-turned-radio presenter says it would take more than Britney Spears’ rumoured £195,000-per-show in the US gambling capital to make the girl band reunite on stage again.

She told the Metro newspaper: "I’d go to Vegas – if we get paid more than Britney. After the Olympics, it was really hard to think, ‘What can we do next?’ We represented our country, it was huge! We like to say never say never, so we’ll have to see."

However, the girls – Mel C, Mel B, Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham – are all mothers and Emma admits her own sons, Beau, six, and two-year-old Tate, who she has with her boyfriend Jade Jones, would be the biggest obstacle to the residency.

The ‘Wannabe’ singer added: "I mean, we’ve all got children, so travelling with them… but, who knows, at the moment we’re happy doing our own things."

Victoria Beckham has insisted that she will never get back together with the girls after they reunited for a sell-out 2008 world tour, ‘The Return of the Spice Girls’ and then again to perform at the London 2012 Olympics.

She claimed: "I won’t ever do it again. Doing the Olympics was an incredible honour. I was so proud to do it; proud to be British…That was a perfect time to say, ‘That’s great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.’ Sometimes you’ve got to know when it’s time to leave the party."
