Mel B’s tough workouts

Mel B has to work hard to maintain her slim physique.
The former Spice Girls singer hits the gym every day in order to maintain her age-defying figure.
She said: "Generally I try to do at least 30 minutes of cardio a day mixed with weights. I’m also a big fan of sit-ups, so I try to do as many of those as I can".
And the 41-year-old singer feels fortunate to be living in Los Angeles with her husband Stephen Belafonte, 41, and her three daughters – Phoenix, 17, and Angel, nine, from previous relationships and Madison, four, with Stephen – because it means she can keep fit whilst exploring the hills of Hollywood.
She told Closer magazine "Living in Los Angeles, I’m lucky that I can get out and go on long hikes and run around the Hollywood Hills, which definitely keeps me in shape. I like to mix up my workouts between the gym and the outdoors"
"I’ve done fad diets in the past and realised they never work in the long run, so now I just keep my diet simple. I know what’s healthy and what’s not. I eat lots of protein, fill up on vegetables and try to avoid carbs at night. I also love gummy bears so they will always be my treat. I have one day a week where I just have to indulge!"
