Chris Brown ‘disturbs peace’

Chris Brown could face charges for disturbing the peace over his quadbike stunts.
Police were called to the ‘Yeah 3x’ singer’s home in Tarzana, Los Angeles, on Wednesday (11.05.16) after the 27-year-old star annoyed his neighbours when he and a friend began doing doughnuts on all-terrain vehicles (ATV) in the street, including on a number of lawns, and racing up and down the road at around 6pm.
According to TMZ, as well as the noise made by the vehicles, the pair’s antics also disturbed children who were playing outside and when one neighbour confronted the singer and threatened to call police, he replied: "F**k you and f**k the cops."
The local resident called for law enforcement assistance, and when the officers came out and knocked at Chris’ door, the person who answered said the ‘Run It’ singer would not come to the door and they should call the star’s lawyer if that was a problem.
Sources told the website police were "not amused" and are planning to go to the Los Angeles City Attorney and recommend prosecution for disturbing the peace.
The singer is said to be "hated" in the neighbourhood because of non-stop late night noise.
Chris has had a number of run-ins with the law in recent years, beginning with being convicted for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in February 2009.
For that offence, he was sentenced to five years of probation, one year of domestic violence counseling, and six months of community service, and his probation was finally lifted in March 2015.
In 2014, he spent almost three months in jail last year for violating his probation after allegedly hitting a man in Washington, and had his probation revoked in January 2015 following a poor report which claimed he had a "knack" for finding trouble and had been present at two shootings, though he was not involved in either.
Notes at the time read: "There is also concern that when he performs or attends at some of his public events, people will get shot or seriously injured."
