Kit Harington surprises disappointed fans

Kit Harington took selfies and signed autographs for fans after two performances of his new play ‘Doctor Faustus’ were cancelled.
Both the matinee and evening performance of the production of Christopher Marlowe’s play at the Duke of York Theatre in London were axed on Saturday (30.04.16) because of flooding at the venue but Kit met disappointed fans in the lobby and tried to make it up to them.
According to broadwayworld.com, "Harington met his fans in the theatre lobby to sign posters and take selfies".
A message on the ticketing website announced the cancellation, stating: "We are sorry to announce that both performances of ‘Faustus’ have been cancelled today; Saturday 30th April, due to unforeseen circumstances. Please contact your vendor for an exchange or refund."
Meanwhile, Kit – who is dating fellow ‘Game of Thrones’ star Rose Leslie – previously revealed getting the chance to come home to London was a major "reason" for deciding to star in ‘Doctor Faustus’ as he would be away from the UK for long periods of time while filming the HBO show.
He said: "I’m a London boy. It’s my home, I love this place. At the moment I’m around my friends and my girlfriend. In a shallow way, that’s a reason to take this job. Privacy can be hard when you get some success, but the really difficult thing is being away so much. What I’ve found hardest about being in ‘Thrones’ and on TV is how lonely it is."
