JB Gill to judge on The X Factor?

JB Gill wants to be a judge on this year’s ‘The X Factor’.
The former JLS singer is keen to take Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s place on the nitty-gritty panel when the singing show returns to screens for another series later this year.
Asked who he thinks should take the spare seat on the panel, he said: "Well I’m available if needed! Changes are exciting, there have been a lot of changes to the show to spice it up. Maybe one of the One Direction boys could do it, or maybe one of the JLS boys could do it! I know [my former bandmate] Oritsé Williams has always been into mentoring and managing and things like that. So if I had to pick someone other than myself then I’d pick Oritsé for it."
But the 29-year-old hunk believes he will be the perfect choice for the panel because he has a special connection with the show after the band shot to fame when they came second on the ITV programme in 2008.
He explained to BANG Showbiz: "I know exactly what the process entails as I’ve been through the process, to see the next generation of stars or future stars come through I’d love to be part of that process."
But if he doesn’t manage to snap up the gig this time, JB is convinced he’ll have plenty more chances because the popular programme will continue for years to come.
He said: "’The X Factor’ is one of the biggest shows on TV at that time of year, no matter what anyone says.
"Unless something else comes along and replaces it as the biggest show of that format it can carry on for as long as Simon Cowell and the team want it to go on."
