Sophie Ellis-Bextor was joined by her mother Janet Ellis at the Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction 2016 shortlist at The Weston Roof Pavilion in central London’s Royal Festival Hall. The mother and daughter wore patterned dresses to the glitzy occasion, but Janet beat the ‘Murder On The Dance Floor’ singer in the style stakes, with her shift dress and statement chain ensemble, as the pair drank Baileys Flat White Martinis.
