YouTube blogger Zoella is in talks to present ‘The Xtra Factor’.
Simon Cowell has reportedly met with the internet sensation – who has a massive online following of eight million subscribers – as part of his planned shake up of ‘The X Factor’ and it’s ITV2 spin-off show.
A source shared: "There is serious interest in Zoella and Simon is keen to hear how she developed such a huge online following with young people."
The 55-year-old music mogul is said to be hopeful that if Zoella, 25 – whose real name is Zoe Sugg – joins the show, her fans will help boost dwindling ratings.
The insider told The Sun newspaper: "Simon wants ideas that are different and is really thinking outside the box when it comes to shaking up the show."
The ‘Xtra Factor’ presenting job became available when radio DJ Sarah Jane Crawford announced she’d quit after just one series earlier this month.
And Zoella is already said to have filmed a demo after she was spotted shooting what appeared to be a segment from the show in central London.
