Zoe Lucker thinks Jake Wood will "definitely" win ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The ‘Waterloo Road’ actress – who came tenth on ‘SCD’ in 2009 – has already pinned the ‘EastEnders’ star as the winner of the BBC One dancing show.
Talking to Digital Spy, Zoe said: "I think he’s probably got tough competition but I think he’s going to win, definitely!"
The 40-year-old actress then admitted that before she saw him on the dance floor, she couldn’t picture Jake enjoying the tango.
She said: "I know at one point he did mention ‘Strictly’ to me. I’d done it myself before then and it was the year that Scott Maslen [who plays Jack Branning on ‘EastEnders’] was doing it. He asked me, ‘What do you think about it?’ But I couldn’t imagine Jake doing it.
"I think he’d been thinking about it for quite some time, and obviously the time came when he just decided to go for it."
However, Zoe – who once played Jake’s on-screen girlfriend Vanessa Gold on ‘EastEnders’ – then revealed that despite her initial doubts she has been thoroughly impressed with Jake’s performance on the show.
She said: "I texted him last week saying, ‘You’re outstanding and I’m so excited for you. He’s just amazing and who knew? He’s brilliant."
