Zoe Ball to present EastEnders aftermath show

Zoe Ball is to present a live "aftermath" show from the ‘EastEnders’ set after Lucy Beale’s killer is revealed.

The ‘Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two’ host will be joined by ‘Newsround’ anchor Ore Oduba and former ‘EastEnders’ actor Joe Swash on Albert Square following the dramatic live episode on February 20, when Lucy’s killer is set to be unveiled.

In addition to Zoe’s live show, beloved ‘EastEnders’ stars including June Brown (Dot Cotton), Pam St. Clement (Pat Butcher), Adam Woodyatt (Ian Beale) and Kellie Bright (Linda Carter) are to appear on a special edition of ‘The Graham Norton Show’ on the first night of the soap’s anniversary celebrations on Monday February 16.

Executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins shared: "As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we have set ourselves an enormous challenge – a week of live scenes, a form-breaking flashback, a live episode, story twists that will leave a lump in the throat and a few moments that will elicit genuine gasps from our audience.

"Having the week bookmarked with some of our most iconic characters on Graham’s sofa and Zoe’s live aftermath show coming direct from Albert Square as the dust is just settling, elevates this into the biggest week ever for ‘EastEnders’ fans old and new."

The week of dramatic live and semi-live episodes will see the return of some of the drama’s most popular characters including Peggy Mitchell (Barbara Windsor), Tanya Cross (Jo Joyner) and John Partridge (Christian Clarke).

Hetti Bywater will also be reprising her role as Lucy Beale in the flashback episode, when viewers will finally discover who killed her and how and why it happened.

Join Zoe Ball in Walford live at 8.30pm on Friday February 20 as she’s given exclusive access to the cast and set immediately after the fully live episode comes off air.
