Zayn Malik wants to ‘prove’ he’s good enough for Gigi Hadid

Zayn Malik is desperate to "prove" himself to Gigi Hadid.
The 23-year-old singer is determined to show the 21-year-old model he is worthy of a "second chance" to show he’s good enough for her after they reconciled following a reported split last month.
A source revealed the former One Direction star "kept incessantly apologizing and wanted another chance. Gigi gave it to him, and now he’s determined to prove himself to her. Everything’s good at the moment, but things could change overnight. Zayn is really going to need to continue to prove himself to her. Otherwise, she may not stick around."
The couple reportedly split because they rowed "all the time" and the blonde beauty caught the ‘Pillow Talk’ hitmaker lying to her.
The source told PEOPLE: "They have been working on their communication and being honest with each other and so far things are great. They were fighting all the time and Gigi caught Zayn in a handful of lies and couldn’t take the mystery anymore, so she dumped him."
But after they reunited, Gigi has vowed to support her "love" in his battle with anxiety.
The heartthrob apologised to fans after axed his performance at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball in London at the last minute on Saturday (11.06.16) and his girlfriend shared a long message of support on Twitter.
She said: "Your bravery in those times makes me proud, but your honesty last night proved what you’re all about, being real. Human recognises human. You made the best of the situation and have given your fans an opportunity to understand you better as a performer.
"Those who can find compassion now are the ones who deserve to watch you continue to grow.
We are all here to support you and make each experience easier. Your talent and good heart will never lead you wrong.
"Love you and so proud of you always 🙂 G (sic)."
Zayn was due to give his first solo performance in the UK since quitting One Direction last year at the Summertime Ball – where his ex-girlfriend Perrie Edwards was also performing with her band Little Mix – but left fans devastated after failing to show up.
And he later revealed that an anxiety attack was the cause of his failure to perform.
