Zara Phillips’ daughter makes first public appearance

Britain’s Zara Phillips’ baby daughter made her first public appearance yesterday (16.02.14).

The 32-year-old royal took her one-month-old daughter Mia – who is 16th in line to the throne – to Barbury point-to-point races in Wiltshire, South West England, where two of her horses were competing.

The new mum appeared to be in high spirits as she pushed Mia, who was wrapped up warm against the chill, across the course in her black pram as the sun beamed down on her back.

Although Zara’s husband Mike Tindall – whom she married in 2011 – wasn’t in attendance, the blonde beauty didn’t appear to be short of company as she chatted and laughed with her small group of friends.

Mia – who is the great-granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip – was born at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in South West England weighing a healthy 7lb 12oz.

Despite only giving birth last month, Zara – who is the daughter of Princess Anne – is an Olympic silver medallist in eventing and is determined to return to her hobby as soon as possible, with the view of competing in the 2016 Olympics held in Brazil.
