Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter and her rugby player husband enjoy state-of-the-art equipment in their house and always make sure they have the latest phones, Mike has revealed.
He told the Sunday Times newspaper: "I like TVs, sound systems, and a nice cinema room where it’s all wired in properly. We always upgrade quickly with tablets and smartphones."
While the couple enjoy the finer things in life, Mike, 35, insists family comes first and he is doing his best to ensure a secure financial future for the couple’s six-month-old daughter Mia.
Quizzed about his financial priorities, he explained: ‘Family, making sure we’re all right for the future. We’ve just had Mia, so school fees come into it, college, a wedding."
The rugby pro admits he’s very conscious over his money and has avoided using a credit card until recently.
Mike added: "I am very conscious about money, spending only what I have. That was always the way when I started professional rugby. Then again, if I know the money is there, I like to enjoy myself."
