Zac Efron googled himself daily

Zac Efron used to Google himself every day.
The ‘We Are Your Friends’ star admits there was a time where he used to check what people were saying about him on a daily basis until he realised he was not "living his own life [by] viewing himself through other people’s pictures".
He said: "What I found is structure. That led me to a balance of opposites. You get out of life what you put in.
"There was a moment when my morning routine was, like, get up and Google yourself. But that stopped, dramatically and instantly, probably three years ago. I realised that viewing yourself through other people’s pictures is not living your own life.
"I wasn’t really being myself. A lot of my hobbies had gone out the window. I couldn’t skateboard or surf for fear of being followed. Crossing the line of fear is what leads to greatness."
The 28-year-old actor is incredibly driven, something which he believes he got from his father David.
He added to ELLE magazine: "My parents love me in very different ways. But they checked every box. My dad always taught me to be driven. I was always the shortest kid at school. Always the worst kid on the team. I’d come home after practice and my dad would build a basketball hoop. Then we’d go out and shoot 100 free throws. Pretty soon, every time I got fouled I would make my free throws."
Meanwhile, Zac previously admitted he is "happiest" when he is in a relationship.
He shared: "I know that I’m happiest when I’m in a relationship and can enjoy the kind of closeness you find when you really care about someone and you know they care about you.
"I never wanted to have superficial relationships. I’ve always been very interested in romance and everything that comes with that. You have to figure out what you want out of life."
