Zac Efron could face zombies

Zac Efron is confident he could defend himself in a zombie apocalypse.
The 28-year-old actor has been working hard to get in shape for the ‘Baywatch’ movie – dropping to just 5 per cent body fat in 12 weeks thanks to a strict low-carb diet and working out five or six days a week, often twice a day – and doesn’t think he’s ever been stronger.
He said: "I’m probably the physically strongest I’ve ever felt.
"Not in terms of bench press or how much I can squat, but in how quickly I could get out of this room and destroy everything in my path.
"If the zombie apocalypse happened right now. I’d definitely be able to defend myself."
While he is thrilled with the shape he is in now, Zac admits he sometimes wants to "kick [his own] ass" at time as he’ll always just be "that f***ing kid" from ‘High School Musical’, the Disney franchise in which he first shot to fame.
He told the new issue of Men’s Fitness magazine: "I step back and look at myself and I still want to kick that guy’s ass sometimes.
"Like, f**k that guy. He’s done some kind of cool things with some cool people – he did that one thing [‘Bad Neighbours’] that was funny–but, I mean, he’s still just that f***ing kid from [‘High School Musical’]."
Zac’s diet saw him eat low-carb meals and cut out processed food, and drink concoctions made from mangos, coconuts, lemongrass, coconut water, virgin coconut oil, Epic protein and almond milk, as well as at least 100 ounces of water a day.
In a behind-the-scenes video of his shoot for the publication, he said: "I am a firm believer in not eating chemicals and really, really trying to isolate where your food is coming from."
