Years and Years want to play on the moon

Years & Years want to be the first band to play on the moon.
The ‘King’ hitmakers – comprised of Olly Alexander, Mike Goldsworthy and Emre Turkmen – have set their goals high and have expressed their desire to form a band inspired by the ‘Star Wars’ movies and do a gig in space.
Singer Olly, 26, said: "We could perform in space or be the first band to play on the moon, but we want to be the first ‘Star Wars’ band.
"We want to be the band in the Mos Esley, canteen in the next ‘Star Wars’."
Fans expecting a new album from the ‘Desire’ group may have to wait a while as Olly admits he’s been distracted by playing ‘Pokemon Go’, but said he wants their next record to be completely different to their debut LP ‘Communion’.
Asked if they are working on their next record, Olly told the Daily Star newspaper: "We haven’t started yet, I think we might try an do something different just to amuse ourselves more than anything."
The dance trio recently recorded a new song for the ‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’ soundtrack called ‘Meteorite’ and Olly says he has a lot in common with the titular hopeless romantic.
He quipped: "I’ve definitely worn underwear in the hope of sex – slimming underwear too.
"And daily episodes of crying and ice cream. I schedule it."
Olly previously revealed earlier this year that they have some ideas for the next album and would love to do a song with Rihanna.
He told BANG Showbiz: "We’ve started thinking about it we’ve got a couple of ideas. We’d love to get something out before the end of the year.
"I want to do a song with Rihanna we need to make that work."
