WWE star Brian Christopher Lawler dead at 46

WWE star Brian Christopher Lawler has died aged 46.
The pro wrestler – the son of fellow pro Jerry Lawler – passed away on Sunday (29.07.18) after he was placed on life support on Saturday (28.07.18).
Brian’s mother Kay told TMZ Sports that Brian died surrounded by his family, including his famous father and brother Kevin, following a suicide attempt in jail.
The late wrestler – who went by the name Grandmaster Sexay in the ring – was taken to hospital on Saturday after attempting to take his own life in his prison cell outside Memphis, and he remained in a critical condition until Sunday.
Earlier this month, Brian was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence (DUI), and bail was set at $40,000.
He is said to have led police on a car chase before they detained him.
Brian shot to fame as one half of tag team Too Cool alongside Scotty 2 Hotty, and wrestler Rikishi was also part of the group.
WWE said in a statement: "WWE is saddened to learn that Brian Christopher Lawler, who is best known in WWE as Too Cool’s Grandmaster Sexay, has passed away.
"Lawler, who is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler, competed during the height of the Attitude Era.
"WWE extends its condolences to Lawler’s family, friends and fans."
The wrestling community is also mourning the death of Hall of Famer Nikolai Volkoff, who passed away aged 70, and Frederick Seawright, who was better known as Brickhouse Brown, who died over the weekend aged 57.
WWE said in a statement: "WWE is saddened to learn that Josip Nikolai Peruzović, known to WWE fans as Nikolai Volkoff, has passed away at age 70.
"Volkoff’s infamous rendition of the Soviet National Anthem before his matches made him an instant icon in the eyes of the WWE Universe as a Superstar they truly loved to hate.
"WWE extends its condolences to Peruzović’s family, friends and fans."
