Winston Duke joins thriller Heronie

‘Black Panther’ star Winston Duke has joined the cast of new action thriller ‘Heroine’.
The 31-year-old actor has been signed by Paramount Players to star in its new exhilarating drama, which is being directed by Dan Casey from his own script and produced by Matt Kaplan through his Ace Entertainment production company.
The film will follow a young single mother on the run for an unknown reason – she elopes to a new city only to discover her new friendly neighbour, played by Winston, is actually a dangerous criminal.
The star rose to fame after he landed the role of the villainous M’Baku in Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ and ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.
The actor has been linked to Jordan Peele’s new project ‘Us’, a follow up to the Oscar-winning mystery thriller ‘Get Out’ – in which Allison Williams and Daniel Kaluuya play an interracial couple who meet her parents for the first time – only for Daniel’s character to make some disturbing discoveries about his girlfriend’s family.
The 39-year-old comedian has now announced the follow up, due for release in March 2019 and set to star Winston along with Lupita Nyong’o – who also starred in ‘Black Panther’ – and Elisabeth Moss of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’.
Elisabeth previously said of the film: "All I can kind of say is, I’m obviously a huge fan of ‘Get Out,’ as is the rest of the world, and I think this movie’s gonna be really good, I just think it’s gonna be good. It’s just gonna be really good, and that’s it."
The ‘Big Mouth’ star announced the new film by simply tweeting a poster with the title ‘Us’, which read: "a new nightmare from the mind of Academy Award winner Jordan Peele" and "In theaters March 2019. (sic)"
Details of the new film are under wraps but the story will reportedly follow two couples, one white and one black.
