William, Catherine and Harry to attend Italian wedding

Britain’s Princes William and Harry and Duchess Catherine are expected to fly to Italy for a friend’s wedding next month.

The royal trio will be guests at the nuptials between the princes’ old friend Charlie Gilkes – who was once romantically linked to Catherine’s younger sister Pippa Middleton and attended Eton with William and Harry – and Anneke von Trotha Taylor, Vanity Fair reports.

The couple are well known for their extravagant parties, so the wedding is sure to be a lavish affair and it is claimed William and Catherine – who was known as Kate Middleton before her marriage – have asked her parents Carole and Michael to look after their 12-month-old son Prince George so they can let their hair down at the celebration.

Charlie – who owns a string of London nightclubs and restaurants – proposed to Anneke in August 2013 after three years of dating.

The 30-year-old businessman is believed to have popped the question to his girlfriend while on holiday at the five-star Masseria Torre Maizza hotel in Puglia by placing a message inside a specially crafted fortune cookie.
