Will.i.am to perform own song on The Voice

Will.i.am will perform his own song for his duet with Donel Mangena on ‘The Voice’ this weekend.
The four finalists – Donel, Ruti Olajugbagbe, Lauren Bannon and Belle Voci – have been given the opportunity to sing one track with their mentors as part of Saturday’s (07.04.18) live final, and the Black Eyed Peas front man wants to make sure his team has every chance at winning so has opted to perform his 2010 hit ‘OMG’ – which he originally sang with Usher – with the 16-year-old aspiring pop star.
Donel, from South Hampton, will also perform his rendition of DJ Snake and Justin Bieber’s ‘Let Me Love You’, while fellow competitor Ruti will belt out Daniel Bedingfield’s ‘If You’re Not the One’ and perform Louis Armstrong’s ‘What A Wonderful World’ with his coach Sir Tom Jones.
Olly Murs’ act Lauren will treat viewers to her cover of Shakespears Sister’s ‘Stay’ before the ‘Dear Darlin’ hitmaker will join her on stage to perform Diana Ross’ ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’, while Jennifer Hudson’s group Belle Voci will sing Celine Dion’s ‘My Heart Will Go On’ and Carl Orff’s ‘O Fortuna’.
Meanwhile, although it’s anyone’s game at the moment, Lauren, 27, is hoping she wins the show and gets the prized record deal because she’s promised her wife she’d take her on holiday.
She said: "She said when asked what she was planning to do with her potential cash: "A holiday with my wife Bex in Santorini – now it’s printed she’s going to hold me to this!"
That’s not the only thing she’s looking forward to as Lauren has already decided the name of her debut album and has admitted she’d like to collaborate with Sia.
Asked what she’d name her debut album, she replied: "Eden."
‘The Voice Live Final’ will air on Saturday at 8:30pm on ITV.
