Warner Bros announce ‘Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice’


Warner Bros have announced the official title ‘Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice’ for their latest DC Comics blockbuster.

Filming has begun on the latest instalment of the action adventure – a follow-up to 2013’s ‘Man of Steel’ – with Henry Cavil reprising his role as Clark Kent/Superman and Ben Affleck making his debut as Bruce Wayn/Batman.

Although plot details are yet to be released, the Zack Snyder-directed picture welcomes the return of Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane from ‘Man Of Steel’ and adds Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.

Oscar-winner Jeremy Irons will plays Bruce Wayne’s butler Alfred, with ‘Fast Five’ actress Gal Gadot taking on the role of Wonder Woman.

‘The Piano’ star Holly Hunter has also been announced with the cast in an unspecified role.

According to Deadline, principal photography has started on the franchise’s super-hero team-up movie – written by Chris Terrio and produced Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder.

‘Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice’ will shoot at the Michigan Motion Picture Studio as well as various locations in and around Detroit, Illinois, Africa and the South Pacific.

The movie is scheduled for release on the 6 May 2016.
