Victoria Beckham will have two dinner parties to celebrate her 40th birthday.
The fashion designer reaches the milestone age on April 17 and although she doesn’t want a huge bash she and husband David will enjoy an evening surrounded by close friends before they celebrate the occasion with their children Brooklyn, 14, Romeo 11, Cruz, eight, and Harper, two.
A source told HELLO! magazine: "She really doesn’t want a big party contrary to what many people think, those kind of ostentatious events just aren’t her style.
"She is in Los Angeles on holiday and as David insisted on doing something, they’ve settled on a lovely dinner party with some of Victoria’s LA-based friends and they’ll do another one when they return to London. They also have a few special days planned out with their children in California, who are on their Easter holidays from school, and that is what Victoria is looking forward to most."
The star’s close friends including A-Listers Eva Longoria and Kate Beckinsale are anticipated to help her make it a night to remember.
The source added: "Some of her friends like Eva Longoria and Kate Beckinsale are determined to make her birthday a night to remember. They will undoubtedly have a few surprises in store."
