Vicky Pattison will work less this year

Vicky Pattison has vowed to work less this year.
The former ‘Geordie Shore’ star launched a successful presenting career after winning ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ in 2015 but despite having some "amazing" experiences on ‘Ferne and Vicky: On the Road’ with Ferne McCann and co-hosting ‘I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp’, she admits she didn’t enjoy them as she was always thinking ahead, so this year she’s only taking on projects she’s truly passionate about.
She said: "I had some amazing experiences last year but I couldn’t do it again.
"This year I’ve made a promise to myself to only work on things I feel truly passionate about. I had the chance to travel the world last year but I couldn’t enjoy it. I’d be somewhere amazing but all I could think about was what was coming up next."
And Vicky admitted her busy schedule, combined with a desire to fit in, led to her piling on the pounds last year.
She explained: "I was completely overworked and that led to me becoming overweight, which really got me down. My schedule for ‘Extra Camp’ was so rigorous, I barely had time to work out. There was also a social element to the show. I’d love to be asked back to do it again, so the last thing I wanted was for people to think I wasn’t a team player or couldn’t enjoy a night out with everyone."
But after going on a health kick at the beginning of the year, the 29-year-old star is feeling better about herself.
She told OK! magazine: "When I’m eating right and training, my life seems to flow better. I find it easier to get up in the morning and go to work and feel like I’m a nicer person to be around."
