Vicky Pattison to join Australian I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Vicky Pattison is set to take part in Australia’s ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The 30-year-old reality star – who won the UK version of the jungle endurance contest in 2015 – will reportedly fly out to South Africa at the end of the month to be on the show as producers Down Under think she’d be a "brilliant" addition to their camp.
A source said: "The Australian version is really popular with viewers. Producers saw her on the UK show and loved her.
"They’ve never asked a contestant from the UK series before but they couldn’t resist asking her to take part because they think she’ll be brilliant."
And the former ‘Geordie Shore’ star, who will reportedly be paid £250,000 for spending up to four weeks in Kruger National Park, is excited about the new opportunities the show will open up for her.
The source told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "This is a very big deal. It will give her the chance to reach a whole new audience and prove she can be a hit outside of the UK."
Vicky won’t be the first British star to take part in the Australian show as former cricketer Freddie Flintoff won the first series in 2015.
Vicky recently admitted she thinks herself and fellow Queens of the Jungle, Scarlett Moffatt and Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo were at an unfair advantage on ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ because of their reality TV backgrounds.
She said: "It’s no coincidence me, Scarlett Moffatt and Toff, who all make our living being ourselves on TV, have won.
"Hand on heart, I do think it’s an unfair advantage. We are used to reality TV and having cameras on us all the time. These sports stars, or former pop stars, are great but they lack the level of self-promotion we have. I’m not taking anything away from anyone because I think Scarlett and Toff deserved to win, and hopefully I did too. But what I will say is our reality TV backgrounds have stood us in good stead."
