Vicky McClure would booze until she was sick when she was younger

Vicky McClure used to get "completely blottoed" on booze until she vomited.
The ‘Line Of Duty’ star portrays straight-laced DC Kate Fleming in the fifth series of the BBC drama – which centres around the Anti Corruption unit of a police force – and the actress revealed that she now stays away from alcohol because she "hates" being sick and feeling like "s**t" when she has had one glass too many.
She said: "I did a lot of drinking when I was younger to the point where I just don’t drink much anymore.
"If I go out, I can have a few drinks and that will do me. I can get completely blottoed but I don’t like the feeling of it. I hate being sick when I’m drunk. It happened last year.
"I’ll get to that stage where I think, I’ve took it too far and now I feel sick, I’ve got head in the bowl and I just feel like s**t so I don’t drink much anymore."
The 35-year-old actress also admitted while she kept away from hard drugs, she has tried weed because she grew up in that "era".
She told the ‘How To Fail’ podcast: "It’s [hard drugs] never attracted me. I was never going to get into hard drugs. I knew it from a young age.
"We grew up in the weed era. There were people who grew up in the pills era – you don’t know where that is going to escalate.
"Weed is one of those drugs where control doesn’t really come into it. You are just sort of there, enjoying whatever is on the telly with a bowl of cereal."
