Una Healy: Four of Diamonds have a bright future

Una Healy sees a "bright future" for axed ‘X Factor’ girl group Four of Diamonds.
The Saturdays singer met the girls, Sophia, Caroline, Yasmin and Lauren, recently and she thinks they will go on to be successful because there is a "huge gap" in the girl group market with only Little Mix representing the UK.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I met them at the Pride of Britain awards. They are really lovely girls and I see a bright future for them.
"There is a huge gap in the market for girl bands. One is never enough. There is Little Mix out there but there is not really anyone else, we need another girl band to come along."
The group were given the boot from the singing competition after they lost the sing-off against Saara Aalto on Sunday (06.11.16).
The four piece – who were mentored by Louis Walsh – failed to impress judges Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and Simon Cowell with their rendition of the late Whitney Houston’s ‘When You Believe’ in the last leg of the show when they went up against the Finnish singer’s slowed down but powerful version of Jessie J’s ‘Who You Are’ this evening.
However, despite their disappointment, it’s not all bad news for the departing band as they will reunite with the other seven contestants for the ‘X Factor’ live tour around the UK next year.
Four of Diamonds had a bit of a bumpy ride in the competition as Louis couldn’t decide whether he wanted to take them through to Judges’ Houses and then the Live Shows.
He decided to give them another chance and hear them sing at his apartment in Ibiza but they failed to make his final three.
However, they were thrown a lifeline at the beginning of the Live Shows when Brooks Way were axed from the competition following allegations of physical abuse and they took their place.
‘The X Factor’ will return next weekend for a Disco theme.
