Tyla Carr joins Love Island

A former ‘First Dates’ contestant is set to join ‘Love Island’.
Fans were left stunned last night when Jessica Shears and Mike Thalassitis were evicted from the villa in a shock twist, but it won’t be long before some new faces will be entering the summer abode to shake things up a little as 24-year-old Tyla Carr – who is a model from Surrey – had agreed to compete in the hope of finding love.
In a sneak preview, which will appear in tonight’s (22.06.17) show, she said: "I’m a bit of a raver and a misbehaver."
But she won’t be the only one joining the gang in Majorca as muscled-hunk Simon Searles, 28, a barber from Leeds, will follow suit and already has his eye on some girls.
He said: "I’ve got my eyes on Montana and Amber. The boys better be ready for some competition."
Meanwhile, although Jessica and Mike’s exits came as a shock, the 24-year-old footballer admitted he fancied the glamour model and glad they left together.
Speaking to the MailOnline, Mike said: "The ones I fancied the most, in this order, were Jess, Olivia and Amber.
"But Jess was in pretty deep with Dom by the time I got there. But I’m blunt, so I’m going to say this: if Dom really had fallen for Jess, he would have followed her out when she was voted off with me,
"If he was going to wait for her, he’d have left last night too, or today.
"I’m out with her now and so it’s good to be able to chill with her. We can enjoy our last few days in the sun. Get a bit friendly."
Mike was evicted after host Caroline Flack revealed the three couples with the lowest votes were Chloe and Chris, Jessica and Dom and Olivia and Mike.
The remaining islanders had to then choose who will be evicted from the show.
