Ferne McCann: Sam Faiers ‘relieved’ by diagnosis

Sam Faiers is relieved after having her mystery illness diagnosed as Crohn's disease.
'The Only Way is Essex' star, who lost a stone-and-a-half (21lb) over a period of six weeks due to her ailment, is "doing well" after medical tests confirmed she is suffering from the inflammatory bowel disease.
Sam's 'TOWIE' co-star Ferne McCann said: "She's doing really, really well. She's just happy to be at home surrounded by her family. Her mum looks after her so much."
"I think it's just a relief that she now knows, and that she been diagnosed with something."
"It's just a relief to have her home and on a speedy route to recovery."
The 23-year-old beauty underwent a battery of medical tests after coming down with the illness while in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house last month.
However, Jessica Wright has praised her for powering through her stint on the reality show and making it to the final.
She told ITV's 'This Morning' today (21.02.14): "She did really well staying in that Big Brother house considering how ill she was. She was in bed for two whole days, I think, but we didn't get to see it."
Meanwhile, Sam is expected to appear on 'This Morning' next week to speak about her diagnosis for the first time.

Ant and Dec: Dad Simon Cowell has changed

Ant and Dec think fatherhood has made Simon Cowell softer like their pal Robbie Williams.
The 54-year-old music mogul welcomed his first child, Eric, last week and the presenting duo - who front Simon's show 'Britain's Got Talent' - feel the star will change like Robbie, who has a 17-month-old daughter, Theodora Rose.
Ant told The Sun newspaper: "I texted Simon and he texted back saying he can't wait for us to meet him.
"It's going to change him. I've seen the change in Rob since he's had Teddy. It changes you for the better.
"Rob is just gushing about it all the time. I hope the same thing happens to Simon. I'm sure it will."
Dec then added: "I don't think Simon expected to fall in love with Eric so instantly. I don't think he knew how much it was going to change him."
The stars also revealed they are working on a sitcom to celebrate their 25 years working together on TV.
Dec said: "It will probably be based on two guys who are mates who happen to present Saturday night TV shows and live together and the hilarious capers that follow. There would be good material in that."

TOWIE’s Arg cheated on Lydia Bright with Amy Childs

James 'Arg' Argent cheated on Lydia Bright with Amy Childs.
'The Only Way Is Essex' star and his ex-girlfriend split up two years ago over cheating claims and Lydia, 22, quit the ITV2 reality show last year to focus on her fashion career.
Speaking at the launch of the new series of 'TOWIE', which starts on Sunday (23.02.14), Arg, 26, admitted he'd been unfaithful with friend Amy.
He said: "I've never revealed this before but I actually cheated on Lydia with Amy Childs. It was in the toilets at an ITV party. Sam Faiers walked in on us.
"It happened when I was with Lydia. I didn't sleep with Amy but we kissed and I got caught."
Arg is also set to reveal more juicy details about his love life in his new autobiography 'Living It Arg', out next month.
Asked if Amy, 23, knew that she would feature in his book, he said: "Well, she has tried to call me a few times."
Meanwhile, Arg's love life appears to be back on track and he has been sending flirty text messages to a London girl who he met in Ibiza 18 months ago.
He added: "Last week she texted me from New Zealand and said: 'Will you be my Valentine?' We'll see what happens."
Despite the heartbreak, Lydia has no regrets about falling for Arg in the beginning, saying: "I believe everything you go through in life happens for a reason and you have to learn from your mistakes.
"If I hadn't got together with James, I probably wouldn't have been introduced to 'TOWIE'."
'TOWIE' is back on ITV2 on Sunday at 10pm.

Jack Whitehall’s girlfriend comedy ban

Jack Whitehall has been banned from talking about his girlfriend on his stand-up comedy tour.
The 25-year-old comedian, who is dating his 'Fresh Meat' co-star Gemma Chan, has revealed the actress doesn't want details of their relationship to be included in his stand-up routines in order to keep their romance private.
Appearing on tomorrow night's (22.02.14) episode of 'The Jonathan Ross Show', Jack said: "She doesn't want me to talk about it. And our relationship is the one thing that one tries to keep sacred so that's why I don't really talk about it that much. I don't talk about it that much, I make the odd silly joke [but] I try not to go into too much detail. It's nice to keep something back."
But the star couldn't help but gush over his stunning girlfriend, adding: "She's a lovely, amazing human being and I'm very, very lucky to be with her. That was soppy, wasn't it?"
Jack also stars in BBC Three's 'Bad Education', which he created, and he reveals he is in the midst of writing new episodes.
He said: "I'm writing some more as we speak. We're going to be filming in the summer."
In addition to 'Fresh Meat' and 'Bad Education', the comic could soon be snapped up by TV bosses in America as he recently filmed a pilot for a sitcom in the US.
He explained: "I filmed a pilot in America and now some other people will decide whether they want more. It was fun, it was different ... it's always weird doing things in America and adjusting to it."

Gareth Gates: Big Reunion ‘hard to watch’

Gareth Gates found last night's episode of 'The Big Reunion' "hard to watch".
The former 'Pop Idol' runner-up has formed new super-group 5th Story with Another Level's Dane Bowers, Adam Rickitt, Kavana and Blazin' Squad's Kenzie, and he admits it was difficult reliving his pop star past, including his brief relationship with Katie Price at the age of 17.
He wrote on Twitter last night (20.02.14): "Watching the episode with the @WeAre5thStory lads.... Our hearts are in our mouths! (sic)"
At the end of the episode, he added: "Wow that was hard to watch (sic)"
Former boy band star Dane Bowers opened up about his former group Another Level on the show and says he is still close with his fellow 'Freak Me' hitmakers, who couldn't commit to reforming for 'The Big Reunion'.
Dane tweeted: "I do miss Another Level...but @WeAre5thStory is something I'm LOVING too!! We are seriously gonna have a good chance... (sic)"
And responding to his band mates' own dramatic stories - including Gareth's fling with Katie and Kavana's past rivalry with Adam - Dane wrote: "Well you definitely can't call @weare5thstory boring that's for sure!! (sic)"
The 34-year-old star admitted to being "emotional" after watching the episode, which will lead to the group's first performance together during 'The Big Reunion' concert at London's Hammersmith Apollo this evening (21.02.14).
He wrote: "Thanks everyone for the nice tweets about @WeAre5thStory . Been an emotional one already but looking forward to Hammersmith tomorrow now!! (sic)"

EastEnders’ Lucy Beale to be murdered

EastEnders' Lucy Beale is to be murdered.
The 20-year-old businesswoman - played by Hetti Bywater - will be killed off this Spring in the soap's biggest whodunnit plot, which will start a brand new dark chapter for the Beale family.
Lucy will be brutally slaughtered by a fellow resident, but bosses are keen for the storyline to be as big as the, 'Who Shot Phil Mitchell?' plot in 2001, so are withholding the identity of the killer until next year.
The mystery will give Adam Woodyatt - who plays Lucy's father Ian - a chance to "shine" following his alter-ego's successful breakdown storyline last year, which saw him flee Walford and return as a tramp.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "It's been so cleverly plotted that it isn't a typical whodunnit. It's going to be raw, emotional and gritty.
"It will see her dad Ian start to question how well he really knew his daughter as secrets spill out after her death.
"But one Walford resident has a very dark secret about it -- and viewers will be left guessing for the rest of the year."
Meanwhile, Lucy - who has been played by four actresses since 1993 - will be murdered a month before rival soap 'Coronation Street' feature Tina McIntyre - played by Michelle Keegan - being killed off.

Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright plan summer wedding

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are planning a summer wedding.
The couple are currently searching for the perfect venue for their nuptials and the 'Party Wright Around the World ' star says they have now decided against staging it in either Essex, where he grew up, or Michelle's Manchester hometown.
He said: "It may be in between [the two places]. You can't get married in Essex because there are so few venues. What's perfect could be miles away from the both of us, so people might have to travel and stay in hotels.
"We'd like a summer wedding, definitely in the UK. I'm planning the party."
The 27-year-old star admitted he was terrified when he asked Michelle to be his wife.
He said: "It was scarier than swimming with sharks on my show. It was nerve-wracking. When she said yes I was ecstatic."
Mark - who says the couple will exchange "traditional" vows - insisted the casts of 'The Only Way is Essex' and 'Coronation Street' won't be on their wedding guest list.
He told Britain's OK! magazine: "They won't all be coming. The only people coming from 'TOWIE' are the people who were my friends in the first place, which is Arg, my sister and my cousin Elliott."

Alesha Dixon: Return to work was ‘nerve-wracking’

Alesha Dixon found returning to work "nerve-wracking" after giving birth.
The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge - who has four-month-old daughter Azura with partner Azuka Ononye - is happy to have returned to her career, but admits it was bizarre to step out of her "bubble" at first.
She said: "It's a bit weird being glammed up again because I've just been at home for the past four months. I would look in the mirror and be like, 'Oh I forgot to brush my hair today.'
"I've been living in my bubble and now I've got to get back out there. I want to be working and to set an example to Azura, but going back to work was so nerve-wracking."
The 33-year-old star also admitted she was "scared" of having dress fittings for the 'Britain's Got Talent' auditions so soon after giving birth.
She told Closer magazine: "When I had my 'BGT' dress fitting, it was scary putting on glamorous clothes after having a baby.
"You feel like, 'Oh, here we go.' But my first day was really positive and it felt good to be back. I feel energised."

Sam Faiers diagnosed with Crohn’s disease

Sam Faiers has been diagnosed with Crohn's disease.
'The Only Way is Essex' star has been battling a mystery illness, which has resulted in her losing a stone-and-a-half (21lb), for the last six weeks and numerous medical tests have now confirmed she is suffering from the inflammatory bowel disease.
The illness can lead to ulcers, abdominal pain and weight loss, and it's thought Sam will need to alter her diet dramatically, as well as go on a liquid-only diet for six weeks to rest her bowel.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It's Sam's diet that will be most affected by the diagnosis. She's been told that if she must eat solid food in the next few weeks, she must stick to chicken, eggs and white fish.
"She is suffering from lots of ulcers, so she needs to give them time to heal before she looks at the long term effects of diagnosis.
"At the moment, she is just trying to cope with the excruciating stomach cramps. That has been the most difficult thing. Now, she is working with her gastroenterologist to see if she can work around her illness."
Sam fell ill while in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house last month and was rushed to hospital on two occasions.
The source added: "Sam won't let things hold her back, she's dealing with it in the best way she can. She knows she can't change anything, but she can educate herself about the disease."
A representative for the 23-year-old beauty confirmed her diagnosis, saying: "I can confirm Sam has very recently been diagnosed with Crohn's disease."
